Een met God!!

Meeste van ons ken hierdie gedeelte in Johannes. Lees dit weer en dan lees jy daarna hoe John G Lake hierdie eenheid verstaan het!!!

Joh 17:20-23 Maar Ek bid nie vir hulle alleen nie, maar ook vir die wat deur hulle woord in My sal glo—
dat almal een mag wees net soos U, Vader, in My en Ek in U; dat hulle ook in Ons een mag wees, sodat die wêreld kan glo dat U My gestuur het.
En Ek het hulle die heerlikheid gegee wat U My gegee het, sodat hulle een kan wees, net soos Ons een is.
Ek in hulle en U in My, sodat hulle volkome een kan wees; en dat die wêreld kan weet dat U My gestuur het, en hulle liefgehad het net soos U My liefgehad het.

John G Lake, “I am a believer in the partnership of man and God. There is a fusing, a symphonising of God and man; the two become one. Not a saved man and a glorious God. But man fused into God and God fused into man, one divine creation. When Moses stood at the Red Sea, it was not Moses and God; it was just God. We say: ‘Lord make me a channel’ leaving ourselves separated from God in our thought and expecting God to pour His spiritual power and blessing through us. That is not the highest thing. There is a greater experience than that in God’s word: It is where you and God are one. Your whole body, your whole soul, your whole mind, your whole heart, your whole spirit begins to move in the rhythm and fusion and symphony of the eternal God; one in heart, one in mind, you and God as one. Moses tried to back out of this relationship. God told him to shut up and stop praying and to get on with the job! ‘...You stretch out your hand over the sea and you divide it!’

Ek glo hierdie met my hele hart!!! My kop mis dit partymaal....maar dit verander nie die waarheid nie.
